How To Ping Ffxiv Servers

Is there a way to check the ping on my ps4 on unlike ff14 information centers? I tried to google merely information technology'southward so hard for me to understand... I'k playing on Europe data center and I desire to transfer to Japanese information middle, but I wanna know if the ping is ok first. I never done anything like that so I completely suck at this, tin can y'all explain how to do it?

Open upwards a the run interface (Windows Push button + R).
Blazon in 'CMD' – this will bring you lot to the command prompt.
Type in 'PING <IP Address>' – you tin discover IP addresses of each FFXIV ARR server below.
At the lesser you will be given the minimum, maximum and finally your average ping.

Northward America Datacentre | foursquare-enix.montreal.com | IP accost: 184.107.107.176

Europe Datacentre | eu.square-enix.com | IP address: 209.130.141.243

Nippon Datacentre | jp.square-enix.com | IP address : 202.67.53.202

The NA one is the old information center which was in Montreal. Since the information center expansion at the start of iv.0 the NA servers were moved to Sacramento. The new IP should be 204.2.229.nine. EDIT: I guess that'due south irrelevant since OP is request almost European union and JP, simply I gauge it's good to know for whatsoever NA players who might check this thread.

Thanks for the answer! I tried it. Eu and Na information center works, but it can't discover JP...fourth dimension is out. Why? Btw it's 82 for EU and 225 for NA. I don't know if that's practiced or bad, but I don't have any issues or lags playing on EU server. But I really need to know the ping on JP...why information technology's not showing me :(
